Stockton Sand Dunes / Port Stephens Photographs

At only 2-3 hours drive of Sydney, there is a gem that many Sydney-siders actually never explored: the Stockton Sand Dunes next to Port Stephens. It is quite a trek to get there as you have to find the right entrances, which you can along the dunes but there is also the option of discovering part of the dunes and an amazing beach by Anna Bay.

You can also drive on the beach by the dunes given you have a 4WD as well as purchased a permit from one of the petrol station before the dunes. Of course, you also have to be quite at ease with driving on sand and your tires should be a bit softer.

The must is to go during winter as you'll be able to see the most beautiful stars and milky way ever. We did with some friends during the 2016 winter and this was a truly magical moment.

I highly recommend you check the Stockton Sand Dunes and most of all bring your camera as it's quite another world!

Seoul in 20 hours

June 2017: I got the amazing opportunity to do a 20-hour long layover in Seoul between my flights from Australia to Europe.

Seoul is a very unique city, which I got only a glimpse of, but wonderful to explore.

Below you'll find pictures of the streets, of the Myeongdong neighbourhood, of Seoul Tower, of traditional quarters, and many other views...

If you'd like to learn more on how I did it and what happened during my layover, don't miss my blog posts!

In English: 20-hour layover in Seoul: My experience

In French: Escale de 20 heures à Séoul: mon expérience

Enjoy and let me know your thoughts :)

For my one-week solo trip in San Francisco, I walked, biked, cable car(ed) the whole city from North to South, East to West. Believe me, I was pretty tired at the end of each day!

Nonetheless, this allowed me to take (way) too many pictures of (way) too many cool places in San Francisco. Streets, cars, houses, places, views, I can't count them all!

Discover below the best of the best from my San Francisco trip. And come have a look at my one-week itinerary in ENGLISH here and FRENCH here.

Peace & Love my friend as they would say in San Fran!

Photographs of Brisbane

Before my trip to Fraser Island, I had two days in the main Queensland city. Brisbane is quite a new city but has plenty to offer whether it is museums, parcs or even swimming pools in the city!

This was a short overview but enough for me to want to come back as some point.

You'll also see some few pictures I took at Noosa main beach below for a very quick stopover.

Photographs of Fraser Island

Fraser Island is one of the largest island in Australia, entirely covered in Sand. There are near to no road and the usual is to drive on the beaches out there.

I discovered the beautiful and wild island in October 2016 and explored its beaches, lakes and inside flore and fauna.

New Zealand Road Trip Photographs

The real Middle Earth, 100% Pure New Zealand and home of the kiwi.

I visited New Zealand for the first time in May 2016 and I was far from disappointed! My only problem was … I didn’t get enough time to see everything! A good reason to come back again.

I did a road trip from South Island to North Island, including a ferry trip with the car! The South Island was super wild and unique while the North Island was a lot more inhabited but as beautiful.

If you want to know everything about my trip, have a look at my articles in the Escape section.

In the meantime, enjoy the New Zealand photographs from my road trip and feel free to comment or ask me questions!

Photographs of Canowindra

Back in 2015, we took a spontaneous trip to a NSW country town called Canowindra for their annual hot air balloon festival. It was a super fun escape with discovery of the countryside and magical hot air balloons launch at sunrise. By the way, Canowindra is pronounced "Candandra".
