Before my favourite South Korean Friend Ji Hyun left Sydney, we took a very long walk in the city, exploring every corner. Discover the photographs as well as her thoughts on the city.

What do you like about Sydney?

I love everything about Sydney especially the beach, people and weather. Such a beautiful city with beautiful people.

What is your favourite place to escape?

I love Hermit Bay and Chinamans beaches. There are not that many people in the beach during weekdays, I feel like I own entire beach, haha. The view is amazing from both beaches with sunset.

How would you describe Sydney if it was a real person?

This is the most difficult question.... Feeling so young and energetic but at the same time so comfortable and cozy.

What is your Favorite Place to eat in Sydney?

Maybe the Japanese place we went for last time? Sushi on Stanley in Darlinghurst.

What is your best memory from your time in Australia?

Every moment in Australia was wonderful, so I cannot pick just one. Anyone who has experienced to live in Australia would understand what I mean.

How did you feel arriving in and leaving Australia?

I feel so lucky that I spent my time in summer in Australia. Sydney was really different from what I had been expected but in a good way. I was feeling so sad when I left Sydney and it feels even worse now back in Korea.... I will come back for sure!

What advice would you give to a new person in Sydney?

If I could go back to Sydney now, I will try to explore the city more. There are so many things to discover in Sydney, so just go for it!

What is your next dream?

I would love to go every continent of the world in my 20s. So, hopefully I could travel in South America by next year. Fingers crossed!
